You’ve got your feet firmly planted on the ground. Congratulations! You’ve likely walked your lot numerous times and have begun dreaming up the exact location for your custom home. During this stage, the Tharpe crew can help connect you with an architect and design team that are aligned with your visual taste and style. Our network is extensive – and trusted – and we can plug you in with the most reputable partners in the industry. Depending on the need, we will make introductions to architects, engineers, and interior designers.

At this stage, our team can be involved in a design-build approach, where we work in tandem with the architect as the conceptual design evolves. This close integration allows us to provide:

  • Cost estimating during the design planning phase
  • Review of all plans for constructability
  • Value engineering based on onsite experience
  • Input on local material sourcing and availability

This seamless approach to your home build translates into cost-savings for you. Having us involved at this stage reduces the architect having to redesign later in the project because the home is over budget or a component of the build is not feasible.
